About the Event
You may have done yoga before. Been to classes for weeks, months, maybe years and you're wanting to dive in a little deeper to find out what it's all about, and have more clarity and confidence in your practice or the next time you go to a public class. Discover the origins, the principles, the philosophy, the poses, the practice. And go home with deeper understanding of the practice, plus the tools to create your own home self-practice.
Across 2 afternoons, we will dive into the fundamentals of yoga that will include:
- Yoga history, lineages & philosophy
- Embodiment principles
- Mental health and Yoga
- Fundamentals of asanas (poses)
- Categories of asanas (poses) & their benefits
- Basical sequencing flow to create your own self practice
There will also be 2 x Practices to bookend each day. One grounding short practice to guide us into the day, then we end with a mellow flow practice, incorporating all the parts we have gone through in theory, onto our mats.
The workshop will come with a printed Yoga Fundamentals manual from my decade long experience and passion for the practice. Along with a recommended sequences to get started on your home self-practice.

Investment: $100 for one day, $180 for both days.
To bring: A journal, comfy sheepskins or cushions & a yoga mat if you prefer using your own.
Teas and chais provided throughout the day.
